Florida PACE Centers Westchester participants enjoyed a fun-filled and educational day exploring the exhibits at the Phillip & Patricia Frost Museum of Science. The engaging outing combined physical fitness with learning and socialization. It was a relaxed and fun day of discovery, learning, and shared laughter with friends.
Participants enjoyed crafting plastic spoons into beautiful butterflies using colorful wings, pipe cleaners, and sparkles. This relaxing art activity encouraged self-expression and brought plenty of smiles as each participant created their own one-of-a-kind masterpiece. “I love seeing our participants light up during events and activities. Whether it’s a museum trip or a fun craft, these moments bring so much joy and make them feel special. That makes my day too,” shared Tamara Tabares, Personal Care Attendant.

FLORIDA PACE CENTERS MIRAMAR
Florida PACE Centers Miramar hosted a heartwarming Father’s Day Arts and Crafts Celebration, filled with creativity, games, and lively entertainment. Participants kicked off the festivities by crafting Father’s Day cards and decorating charming gift bags designed to look like suits and ties. The celebration continued with high-energy live entertainment by performer Lala, who brought the room to life with music and dancing.
The fun didn’t stop there, as the afternoon included engaging games like mini golf and Jenga, helping participants boost coordination, concentration, and social interaction – all essential elements for healthy aging. The event struck a great balance between celebration and wellness. As Rachelle Bazille, Miramar Activity and Day Center Coordinator, put it, “The smiles say it all.”

FLORIDA PACE CENTERS HIALEAH
Florida PACE Centers Hialeah celebrated Father’s Day island-style with a vibrant Hawaiian-themed party designed for celebration and socialization. The main event was a performance by talented hula dancers in full costume, who brought an authentic island feel to the celebration and created a truly memorable experience for all in attendance.
Participants were immersed in the fun, soaking in the tropical vibes as they danced and enjoyed the captivating hula performance. The joy of the day was perfectly captured by CNA Mercedes Ramirez, who shared, “From the festive music to the hula dancers, seeing our participants so happy made this Father’s Day celebration truly special.”

FLORIDA PACE CENTERS KENDALL
To kick off the summer, Florida PACE Centers Kendall participants enjoyed a relaxing and fun-filled day trip to Crandon Park. The outing was a perfect opportunity for physical fitness and socialization, providing a refreshing change of scenery. Under the warm Florida sun, attendees strolled along the beach, basked in the ocean breeze, and enjoyed quality time with friends.
The event successfully combined wellness with enjoyment, encouraging participants to stay active and connected. Laurie Garcia, the Activity and Day Center Coordinator, noted the positive experience: “The sun, sand, and water made for a great day of soaking up vitamin D and enjoying each other’s company.”
